Migrants are often the targets of human trafficking. Human trafficking is intertwined with the smuggling of migrants, and half of the victims identified in the EU are non-EU nationals.<\/p>

The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) is an international intergovernmental organisation, a member of the United Nations system. IOM Lithuania works with partners from different countries to help foreigners in Lithuania overcome migration challenges, including the pitfalls of human trafficking.<\/p>
