Training on Human Trafficking Issues

In the training on human trafficking (hereinafter referred to as HT), we provide knowledge and practical skills to identify and appropriately respond to HT cases.

The content of the training includes information on the forms of HT, indicators of crime recognition, factors of individual vulnerability, actions to assist victims, legal regulations, and cooperation with institutions and organizations.

The goal of the training is to contribute to HT prevention, raise awareness about combating HT, and provide possible assistance to victims.

The training is beneficial for educators, social workers, psychologists, case managers, consultants, specialists in healthcare, correctional facilities, non-formal education, employment organization, public safety, and law enforcement, as well as representatives of other institutions, organizations, and agencies working with youth, socially vulnerable individuals—especially migrants, young women and girls, and children.

Time is arranged in advance based on the needs of one or more organizations.

Location – the training can be conducted in person at IOM Lithuania’s premises in Vilnius or at your organization’s office. Remote training is also available.

Lecturers – Representatives and experts from IOM Lithuania.

Participants who have already attended the HT training include: customer service specialists from the Employment Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania, inspectors from the State Labour Inspectorate, and educators and social workers from Vilnius city educational institutions.
